The brief
§01 / Brief
Thirteen years and 150,000+ sq ft delivered - homes, offices, factories - on relationships and referrals, with almost no brand to show for it. No consistent print, a logo that couldn't survive a hoarding, no site-board language, nothing the team could wear to a client visit. The brief was the whole identity: name lockup, a primary mark, a campaign vocabulary for hoardings and brochures, the full stationery system, site signage, safety wear, and merchandise - delivered as one coherent program a builder could deploy unsupervised across every active site.
The relationship
§02 / Relationship
A full brand engineering project executed end-to-end: master mark and wordmark, two-tier campaign vocabulary (the institutional 'Where Visions Rise & Legacies Stand' and the on-site 'Strong Foundations for a Better Tomorrow'), corporate stationery, brochure system, site hoardings and ad boards, safety wear (hard hat decals, hi-vis vest), uniform polo, branded merchandise (water bottle, pen), all delivered as a single deployable kit.
The mark

Buildings, drawn as a planet rising.
The Universe mark holds three readings inside one form: pillars, a skyline, and an orbit. Each justifies the next - the pillars give the company its building credentials, the orbit gives it the cosmic metaphor in its own name, the arc beneath turns the whole composition into something rising rather than something standing still. Built inside a chip so it can travel as a sticker on a hard hat without losing the form.

Vertical white bars
Pillars and a skyline - the work itself. Drawn at unequal heights so the composition reads as a city block, not a single building. The most direct visual claim a construction brand can make.

White elliptical orbit
The planetary ring - the line that gives 'Universe' the right to its own name, and the gesture that turns the skyline into something rising. The sparkle dots along its path read as stars or scaffolding lights, both appropriate.

Magenta concentric arc
A sun on the horizon - the upward motion of the orbit completed underneath. Carries the brand's accent colour and gives the mark its strongest signal at distance.

Imperial purple chip
The container that lets the mark survive at the scale of a hard-hat decal, a business card, a brochure cover, and a construction hoarding without redrawing - one mark, every surface.

A mark for buildings, drawn as a planet rising
Vertical white bars as pillars and a skyline. A white ellipse as the planetary orbit. A magenta arc beneath as the rising horizon. Three readings inside one form.

Two voices, one brand
Institutional voice - 'Where Visions Rise & Legacies Stand' - for the brochure and corporate hoarding. Build-site voice - 'Strong Foundations for a Better Tomorrow' - for the construction perimeter. Same mark, two registers.

Purple and magenta - earned, not borrowed
Construction defaults to grey and high-vis yellow. Universe refuses both. Deep imperial purple, magenta as the accent, white as the ground - an unmistakable brand on any site.

The brochure as service catalogue
Four build categories - Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Tailored - inside one tri-fold. The firm's actual record anchored to a delivered building photograph.

On the site, the brand is the safety wear
The hard-hat decal, vest patch, and polo carry the same mark used on the business card and site hoarding. Safety wear treated as primary signage.

The full deployable kit
Letterhead, envelope, business card, pen. Tri-fold brochure. Construction hoarding, site board, perimeter ad board. Polo, hi-vis vest, hard-hat decal, water bottle. One kit, ready to deploy.

universeconstructions.com - fully responsive. The print system's hero headline and purple brand card carried straight into the web. 'Get A Quote' in magenta, consistent at every breakpoint.
